Our Philosophy
What do we mean by ‘strengthen your foundation’?
Think of your organization as a building.
Whether it’s a skyscraper or tiny cottage, it’s a complex system that is built on a (hopefully!) a strong base. The building’s plumbing, electrical and structural systems count on that base to function as expected. The people inside the building need the base to hold up the walls and protect them from the elements. The building’s integrity depends on that base.
If the foundation isn’t strong, issues that harm the building, will eventually show up. These issues are usually expensive and distracting.
Your organization’s base is made up of its strategy, operations and accountability. Its success depends on how these foundational elements work together to help meet your goals. Just like the building, if the foundation isn’t strong, the cracks will start to appear, taking time, money and energy away from your purpose.
A strategy that does not factor in how (or if) results will be achieved, nor account for risks to the organization, will remain theoretical. Strategy should not only guide the organization but anchor it.
Day-to-day operations, without direction or safeguards will leave staff spinning in circles and the organization vulnerable. Operations should be clear, consistent and purposeful.
If accountability isn’t part of both strategy and operations, it’s meaningless. Organizations need to demonstrate they can be trusted.
This is why aligning strategy, operations and accountability is so important. When all three foundational elements are working in support of one another, leaders have the space to do the work they actually want to do, and as a result, are able to achieve more.
Our approach is practical. Every organization has its own realities, so we believe a customized approach to helping you strengthen your foundation is the only way - we meet you where you are.
