Meet Heather
Problem Solver, Strategist, Leader, Generalist, Serial Fixer, Privacy Geek… these are all words that have been used to describe me. I've always taken them as a compliment.
A generalist at the intersection of people, process, and tech — two decades in nonprofits showed me how systems drive impact. I'm privileged to have worked with incredibly dedicated people across every region of Canada, towards important causes including strengthening Canada's North, providing access to education, fighting climate change, and promoting the value of Canada's universities. In every role, my work landed at the same intersection: helping organizations operate as effectively as possible toward their goals.
I started Firefly Strategic Consulting to bring that thinking to leaders who are navigating complexity, change, and the pressure to do more with less. My work sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and privacy — and no two projects look the same.
