Meet Heather
Problem Solver, Strategist, Leader, Generalist, Serial Fixer, Privacy Geek… these are all words that have been used to describe me.
Really, they are a way to help describe the various experiences I've had over my career. I'm privileged to have worked with incredibly dedicated people in every region of Canada, working towards important causes including strengthening Canada's North, providing access to education, fighting climate change through groundbreaking research and working to promote the value and strength of Canada's universities.
My role in this work has been to lead initiatives that strengthen these organizations' operational base, so they are working as effectively as possible towards their strategic goals.
With a broad background and nearly twenty years leading projects in strategy, operations, privacy, IT, governance and programs, I have the experience and skills to help your organization flourish.
I understand the challenges a small organization can face, but I also know the commitment and perseverance found in these organizations and what can be accomplished with just a spark of inspiration.

Heather Cayouette, CIPP/C, CIPT is a seasoned leader with nearly twenty years of experience in the not-for-profit sector, particularly supporting Canadian universities. A bilingual strategist, Heather is recognized for her ability to drive transformative initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and accountability. Heather’s leadership is defined by her ability to foresee risks, build tailored solutions, and guide organizations through complex transformations, making her an invaluable asset in achieving long-term success. Heather’s priority is people and has worked throughout her career to develop and maintain strong relationships with staff, clients and stakeholders.
Heather has a breadth of experience leading projects in strategy, organizational and change management, governance, program development, information technology and privacy. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (Canada) and a Certified Information Privacy Technologist.
